Lazuli Buntings
Went to the Tish NWR yesterday to see the Bobolinks that were reported, but couldn't locate any. I did however see Lazuli Buntings.
Also saw Indigo and Painted Buntings, lots of Orchard Orioles, American Pelicans, Franklin's Gulls, both Kingbirds, a clay-colored sparrow, and heard a couple of Swainson's Thrushes.
Arbuckle-Simpson Nature Festival
The Arbuckle-Simpson Nature Festival was this past weekend. I had a good time even though it rained off and on most of the time.
